Just recently, for example, the company announced the innovative and revolutionary Moza Vision GS Steering wheel to. Retrieved from Gamescom 2024 the Chinese manufacturer once again comes out with some very interesting products, including the new Moza Racing mBooster Active Pedals. Yes, you read correctly; Moza Racing is also entering the market with its own interpretation of Active Pedals. In this article, you will read everything you need to know about this new announcement from Moza Racing.

Moza mBooster Active Pedals: The New Norm in Sim Racing

Sim racing is the modern world that never stops with the latest developments designed to help both amateurs and professionals in the sport perfect their experience. Among the new innovative products on sale are the MOZA Racing mBooster Active Pedals, the product that redefines sim racing realism and top performance. The innovative pedal system design is designed around technology that pushes the limits of any sim racer.

With the introduction of the Moza Racing mBooster Active Pedals, active pedals are becoming more accessible to a wider audience. Whereas the Simucube Active Pedals have a price tag of around €2,500

Powerful technology

But what really sets the MOZA Racing mBooster Active Pedals apart from others is their unique patented mBooster technology. Most of the pedals available on the market for sim racing work by using springs to provide the amount of resistance and feedback to a driver to most realistically emulate how driving a race car would.

However, the mBooster Active Pedals do none of this old-fashioned stuff and instead use motors and ball screws, allowing developers to set micro-level needs via software.

Beyond just improving accuracy, the use of this technology also enables steering in ways previously unthinkable. Riders can, on a moment-to-moment scale, shape tactility and pedal feel around their individual needs, or compensate for a specific aspect of a racing environment. This makes the mBooster one of the best tools for those serious about sim racing.

Accuracy and Performance

The MOZA Racing mBooster Active Pedals include a dual circuit 200 kg pressure sensor, which means they are highly sensitive in determining the amount of force applied to the pedal. In other words, even the slightest accuracy of the pressure applied by the driver is detected and used in the simulation.

This precision is further confirmed by a 15-bit angle sensor, which means that the movement of the pedals is tracked with the utmost accuracy. So the fusion of the two technologies makes the pedals hyper-sensitive and super accurate, just as you would want them to be for delivering the best possible performance.

Ergonomic design and flexibility

But what makes the MOZA Racing mBooster Active pedals so unique, apart from the technology itself, is the ergonomic design. Intended for long-term use, the pedals are designed with comfort and adjustability in mind. The system even supports reverse montage to adapt the pedals to a wide range of riding styles and personal preferences. All this contributes to a highly immersive experience of racing via simulation, where one can really immerse oneself in the simulation process as if it were a real racing experience.

High-quality software

The mBooster Active Pedals are supported by professional software that allows tuning at the deepest level. The software offers a wide range of options for tuning the pedals' sections, so that the entire system is able to meet any racing environment or individual requests.

Whether you want a harder touch for Formula 1 racing, or a softer, proportional touch for rallies, the mBooster Active Pedals can be easily adjusted to make this possible. In the Moza Pit House Software, you can set the following, among other things:

  • Adjustable Rebound, Stroke, Damping & Friction
