Soelpec, manufacturer of premium sim racing hardware, has released the new Soelpec Terra LX announced: an advanced steering wheel designed for serious sim racers with high demands on precision, ergonomics, flexibility and visual feedback.
The wheel offers a fully CNC-machined aluminium design, supports up to 136 programmable inputs and includes extensive RGB lighting with real-time telemetry integration. The Terra LX is available for pre-order immediately via soelpec.com for an introductory price of €790.00 (normal price: €879.00).

About Soelpec
Soelpec develops high-quality sim racing hardware for racers looking for performance without compromise. The brand has proven itself in a short time with products that combine innovation, functionality and finish. Well-known models such as the Soelpec Spectra XR and Soelpec Spectra LT have positioned themselves as serious alternatives within the premium segment. This experience is the basis for the development of the new Terra LX.
Sturdy and comfortable design
The Soelpec Terra LX is constructed from black anodised 6061-T6 aluminium and has a diameter of 297 mm. This combination delivers high rigidity and durability, while maintaining a relatively low weight. The grips are finished with overmoulded silicone rubber (shore 50A), designed for optimal grip and comfort even during intense racing sessions.
The internal structure is reinforced around the encoder zones and paddle montage points, and includes additional reinforcement around the central hub for instant, accurate feedback. The integrated 42 mm hub features a USB-C passthrough and supports montage via the universal 70 mm PCD pattern, compatible with Simucube, VRS and Fanatec Podium, among others.
Smart control with 136 functions
A key feature of the Terra LX is the HybridSwitch and HybridLink system, which allows users to configure up to 136 individual functions. The four central HybridSwitch encoders support multiple operating modes: 12-position rotary switch, push function and rotary encoder.
Combined with HybridLink technology, up to 12 virtual layers can be assigned to the thumb coders, making input mapping easy to switch between vehicle types or simulations.
Controls include:
- 13 tactile push buttons (700 gf, with tactile click feedback)
- 2 multi-function 7-way switches (D-pad, rotary, enter)
- 4 central HybridSwitch encoders (pressure and rotation capability)
- 2 illuminated DuoAct thumb encoders (up to 24 functions per encoder)
- Additional rear-facing buttons for direct control of critical race functions
Configuration is possible via the proprietary Soelpec software and is fully supported in SimHub.

Clear RGB lighting
The Terra LX is equipped with 128 RGB LEDs, including 10 rev lights for speed indication. Each central encoder features a ring of 12 RGB LEDs for real-time status display.
With the LightSync system, the encoder lighting automatically adjusts to the selected modes (2, 3, 4, 6 or 12 pulses). This provides instant visual confirmation of settings, which is particularly useful for VR use or driving in twilight or night conditions.
RGB functionality is fully customisable via SimHub or Soelpec's own configuration environment. Colours, animations and telemetry integrations can be set individually for each profile and function.
Paddles with dual function
The shift paddles feature Soelpec's proprietary DuoAct technology, combining a tactile microswitch with a hall-effect sensor. As a result, the system supports both digital and analogue signals per paddle.
The clutches feature a linear spring mechanism and offer consistent resistance, which is essential for functions such as launch control or precise grip dosing. The shifters use N52 magnets combined with ball bearings and a fixed end stop for uniform click resistance.
The angle and distance of the paddles are easily adjustable via a click mechanism with fixed locking positions, so settings do not shift during prolonged use.

Fully customisable
Different encoder buttons are included with the Terra LX in multiple sizes and colours. This allows users to tailor their handlebars to personal preference or specific racing conditions, such as riding with gloves or in VR.
A transparent sticker system is included for labelling buttons and encoders. The durable PMMA labels contain clear icons and text (English), making it easy to distinguish functions such as pit control, radio, traction control or ABS settings.
The wheel is tailored in layout and functionality to popular racing categories such as GT3, LMP, Formula and Rally, and is also suitable for multi-sim setups thanks to its modular design.
