Bavarian Sim Tec has just launched the brand new Bavarian Sim Tec Delta announced: a versatile high-end steering wheel with impressive specs, available in two variants - with or without integrated Driver Dash. The Delta positions itself as a hybrid wheel for Formula, GT and prototype-style simulators, with a 295 mm diameter and a focus on ergonomics, functionality and innovation. The wheel was developed with input from both professional drivers and experienced sim racers, resulting in a unique and balanced design suitable for a wide range of racing categories.

Bavarian Sim Tec two variants: with or without display

The Delta is available in two configurations:

  • Bavarian Sim Tec Delta Delta without dashboard - without display, aimed at racers who already use an external dash or prefer a minimalist design.
  • Bavarian Sim Tec Delta Delta with built-in dashboard - with built-in Driver Dash for real-time data, lap times, accelerations, tyre temperatures, brand substance level, ERS settings and more.

The Delta with built-in dashboard is equipped with a high-contrast display that remains perfectly legible under all lighting conditions. Both models share the fundamental hardware and software, with the major difference being the display integration. Thanks to the modular design, it is also possible to upgrade from Core to Dash at a later date, provided the necessary internal connectors are included.

Key features of the Bavarian Sim Tec Delta

The Delta is designed for demanding sim racers who leave nothing to chance. Some highlights:

  • NextGen QuickShifter: a completely newly developed shifting system with extremely short shifting stroke, razor-sharp tactile feedback and a modular design making parts easily replaceable.
  • More than 100 inputs: including push buttons, 12-position encoders, joysticks, toggles, thumb rotaries and analogue inputs that are individually configurable.
  • 99 telemetry-controlled RGB LEDs: configurable for RPM, delta, flags, ERS/DRS status, tyre temperature, pit information, fuel alerts and more. Each LED can be individually set in terms of colour, brightness and animation.
  • Custom-spec encoder: developed in collaboration with professional drivers for optimal precision, grip and a unique click response.
  • Fully programmable software: the included BST Control Suite offers extensive configuration options, per-game profiles, macro support and automatic firmware updates.
  • USB-C connection with gold-plated contacts and low-latency data transmission.
  • Reinforced housing made of CNC-machined aluminium with carbon front plate, for an optimal balance between strength and weight.

About Bavarian Sim Tec

Bavarian Sim Tec (BST) is a German sim racing brand that has gained considerable popularity in recent years thanks to their focus on precision, durability and innovation. From their own R&D lab in southern Germany, they develop sim racing hardware with a keen eye for detail, ease of use and competitive performance. Well-known products include:

  • Bavarian Sim Tec Alpha Wheel: a sleek Formula wheel with advanced grip texture, RGB LED strip, 7-way FunkySwitch, magnetic shifters and adjustable encoders. Designed for maximum grip and responsiveness, the wheel offers full support for all common sim racing platforms.
  • Bavarian Sim Tec Pro V2: the flagship among Bavarian Sim Tec's steering wheels. Built around a 300 mm carbon-hybrid wheelrim, the Omega Pro V2 offers more than 100 programmable inputs, including 12 encoders, 4 joysticks, and magnetic shifters. The optional Driver Dash with 4″ HD display and 99 RGB LEDs makes the wheel suitable for both competitive sim racers and endurance riders.
  • Bavarian Sim Tec DDU5 Display: a high-resolution standalone 5-inch dashboard compatible with SimHub. Ideal to place above your wheelbase for real-time telemetry and race information.
  • Bavarian Sim Tec ControlCenter: an advanced button box with four 7-way encoders, toggle switches, an emergency stop button and more than 30 configurable inputs. Designed for maximum control and ease of use during long races.
  • Bavarian Sim Tec BeaconLights: a configurable LED panel for flag status, DRS/ERS indications and pitlane warnings. Fully integratable with SimHub or the BST Control Suite.

With the Delta, Bavarian Sim Tec expands its line-up with one of the most versatile and advanced steering wheels on the market. The product marks a new phase for the brand, bringing together modular platforms, software integration and high-end features.
