Fanatec CSL Elite V2 Pedals

The list of Fanatec steering wheels, wheelbases and pedal sets has been growing at a rapid pace lately. So an upgrade of one of the most popular pedal sets could not fail to come. In this article, you can read all about the new Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals V2.

The Fanatec CSL Elite V2 pedals are a new addition to Fanatec's immensely extensive range. The new upgrade replaces the now almost six-year-old existing set.

Fanatec CSL Elite V2 Pedals: Better than ever!

Fanatec's popular pedal set returns with an overhauled load cell brake, hall sensors on the throttle and clutch and many refinements to the design. The design of the pressure (load cell) based braking system has been completely redesigned and, like the previous set, has a force of as much as 90 kg.

CSL Elite V2: three pedals in one bundle

One of the things that is immediately noticeable is that the new V2 consists of one bundle with three pedals. With the previous version of the CSL Elite, you received two pedals as standard out of the box. You could upgrade these with an additional load cell kit for an optional extra pedal. The Fanatec CSL Elite V2 Already comes with three pedals as standard, which is a very pleasant upgrade as far as we are concerned!

Electronically adjustable and available with additional elastomers

The amount of braking force required can be easily adjusted via the Fanatec Tuning Menu. Manual calibration is of course also possible. Included in the set are three elastomers of 65, 75 and 85 that allow you to adjust the hardness of braking. Finally, a second firmer metal spring is also included should you desire more power and stiffness during braking.

Magnetic sensors and all-metal design

Both the accelerator and brake pedals use precision Hall sensors. This technology ensures that the axes of the pedals are measured magnetically. Because this system is non-contact, it means there is no wear and tear on the sensors and ensures a more durable and consistent performance.

The pedal arms, footplates and heel rest are made of cast and machined aluminium finished with a durable powder coat. Extra reinforcement at the back of the Fanatec CSL Elite helps with rigidity and stability under heavy loads.

Fanatec CSL Elite V2 price and compatibility

The Fanatec CSL Elite V2 pedals cost €299.95 and are available for immediate delivery! This is a very neat and competitive price for which you get a lot of value and quality in return. The new pedal set is compatible with PC, Playstation and Xbox. You can connect it to all Fanatec wheelbases that are compatible, but you can also use this new pedal set as a standalone input device via USB. If you play on a console then you should connect it to a Fanatec wheelbase (provided it is compatible with your Playstation or Xbox).

Convinced? Then order the new pedals right away!

We can and may conclude that the new V2 pedals are a fantastic upgrade to your existing CSL Elite V1. Don't have any (Fanatec) pedals yet and looking for a new pedal set at an attractive price? Then the CSL Elite V2 pedal set is an absolute must-have in the mid-price segment as far as we are concerned.
